Dollar (Honeymoon) Dance:

The custom of the Dollar Dance, also known as the Honeymoon Dance, is to provide the new couple with a few extra dollars to begin their adventure together.  Here is how it works:

Guests voluntarily line up and pay $1 for the privilege of a dance with either the bride or groom.  Guests may make a larger contribution if they wish.  You may provide pins for the guests to pin the money to the newlyweds, or have the best man & maid of honor to collect the money.   The best man and the maid/matron of honor are the gatekeepers, and they will escort the dancing partners on and off the dance floor approximately every half minute. Guests who wish to dance with the bride, line up behind the maid of honor. Guests who wish to dance with the groom, line up behind the best man.

Choose atleast three neutral content songs for this event.  Usually there will be more participants if you choose slower tempo, partner style dance songs.
